What happens when Pro ends

Common questions
Do I need to pay to use an NFC or QR product?
No. Tapping and scanning always open your card, on Free or on Pro. Buying a product includes 12 months of Pro, and after that your card carries on working either way.
What do I get on the Free plan?
One editable digital business card profile that you can share by link, QR or NFC tap, plus 4 app shortcuts and 2 dynamic links. Your public profile carries the Tappd logo. Every new account also gets a month of Pro to try, with no payment details needed — and any profiles you create in that month stay viewable and shareable afterwards.
What happens to my extra profiles if I go back to Free?
They stay live. Anyone who taps, scans or opens the link still reaches them, exactly as before — you just can't edit profiles 2 and 3 until you renew. Your main profile stays fully editable, and nothing is ever deleted.
Do I need hardware to use Tappd?
No. Your digital business card works on its own, shared by link or QR. Hardware just gives you a physical way to hand it over.
